After an improved performance in their last game The Trooper went into their first REAL home game of the season at the fortress against table topping Tc Sports.
The Trooper lost their first game of the season away against TC Sports and were looking to gain revenge. A Magnificent first half performance saw The Trooper take the game to the league leaders. With manager Ian Salter having to make a few changes to the line up in came luke price at right back with rich white moving into midfiled, paul brown returning after a few weeks out and Phill Williams making his first start of the season up front.

First Half
The Trooper were taking the game to their opponents in the first half and were causing them problems from the start up front and were looking tighter at the back with a more solid defensive performance. Williams was causing the TC Sports defence huge problems and scored a quick fire hatrick! to see the Trooper leading 3-0, with improved confidence the trooper were playing some neat football in their opponents half whilst being NO NONSENSE in defense and having Mark willmott return to form between the sticks the team were first to every ball and it wasnt long before phill williams was causing more panic in the opposing defence and a own goal saw the Trooper go in at half time 4-0 to the good.

Second Half
League Leaders Tc Sports came out for the 2nd half shocked from their first half mauling looking to get back into the game, pushing more and more men forward to try to get back into the game. a strong defensive display from bothe the midfied four and the back four saw the trooper continually frustrate the opposing team time and time agian and with mark willmott in commanding form between the sticks showing some great shot stopping ability. TC Sports broke through to make the game 4-1 with 20 minutes to go after a lucky rebound from a corner. The Trooper made a few changes up front bringing on dean harris(back from Injury) for P. williams and justin coombe coming on for Ian salter, TC Sports reduced the deficit to 4-2 with a two yard tap in late in the game and were pressing to try and salvage something from the game but the Trooper marshalled superbly by Jim adams who was captain for the day held on to get the much needed three points and in my opinion 100% deserved.
