Hello/Salut all, My name is Valerie Aoulou. Once again, welcome to my website. I have decided to dedicate this site to all women in Africa suffering the consequences of war, particularly Civil War. My inspiration was a great woman, the best to me anyway not well known in the world but in our small Ivory Coast a lot of people for various social backgrounds knew and still know her name. Mum this is for you. You left me , Papa, Willy, Pascal and Muriel on that day: Tuesday 11th March 2003. This is just to carry on what you started brilliantly and as you always taught me go beyond expectations. I love you. You are now with Danielle my dearest sister that also decided to leave but a bit earlier in 1998. May you both rest in peace and it is only a matter of time before we all get together again but if I can accomplish half of what you did. I would have lived enough! Thank You Mum. Dear Visitors, you are welcome to post me your comments as I am launching an awareness via this website to restore the image of Young Black African Women. Consequently, all information or ideas you might have on the subject will be highly appreciated!
