Sensei Steve Hollister started training at the age of 6, following after his father Sensei Bill Hollister. He is a 4th Dan and help his Dad run the Saltash Dojo.
Steve is a member of the FEKO Association team which he joined in 2001. He was naturally over the moon to be asked to join the squad and has commited himself to training every other month and 1 or 2 competitions every month aswell.
He has won a silver medal in thw Welsh Bushi Kai 2001 and 2002 with the team and they also came second in the Triple Crown Karate Clash.
Steve's hopes for the future are to remain fit enough to train and compete and also to take part in the WKC World Championship, in Russia, in June.
And Steves's favourite thing about Karate? Everything!!
