The purpose of the Unit is to offer FREE advice and provide an opportunity for Stroke survivors, their relatives and Carers to talk about their anxieties regarding Stroke. Members of the Support Unit are Stroke Club members who have had a Stroke, or is a Carer of a Stroke sufferer, or has been a Carer of a Stroke sufferer. We have interesting leaflets and booklets describing many features resulting from a Stroke. In addition we have videos with case studies of Stroke patients, which demonstrates the effectiveness of rehabilitative treatment.
