We got together to play Dylan. It would be difficult to argue against the view that Bob has been the greatest singer/songwriter of the second half of the 20th Centuary.
His songs sounded the battle charge in remaking the world at large although he denies it.
His lyrics tell the tale of his own life and the philosophy that grew out of it.
He never intended to speak for others but he said the things we all felt.
We all enjoy making music and so why not play Dylan. They are great songs. We sound nothing like him, but then so many other great bands have played his songs in their own way and have sounded fine and this has encouraged us to do the same.
