Woven into Architecture
A small group who completed City and Guilds together meet regularly in a support group. It's a bit like making friends during the war - they last for life.

For this challenge, each person had a different set of colours, about 8 fabrics to make an item - mine was yellow! Strips of fabric were woven over polyester wadding and joined then machine quilted and some hand work with embroidery thread was added.

Size 35" x 21"

Mystery magic
Wall hanging following instructions from the Internet.

I ran this as a Mystery project for our quilting group - very successful. I gave instructions once per month for 4 months and demonstrated how to make the blocks - some were pieced and some were foundation pieced.

Machine pieced and quilted.

Size approx 27" square.
