Lincolnshire
As most of you will be aware, the Leaning Name has it’s origins in England, and goes back to the 11th and 12th centuries in one form or other. Concentrated heavily around Lincolnshire, the name is rarely found anywhere else in the British Isles. Those that have strayed in the UK and abroad almost always trace ancestors back to Lincolnshire.
