This Area starts with Gathergood families resident in Necton, Norfolk, England.. There are some early relationships to family groups from the Tilney St. Lawrence area.  In this Area family members migrate from farming and agricultural work towards engineering and industry with family members leaving England for Ohio USA. The family line starting with John Gathergood 1738-1789 is presently one of the largest and most detailed family lines to have been researched.
