Review |
| As
the season started it was clear that Renault had a way to go before
they equaled the success that they achieved in the mid 90s with
Williams.
The engine was revolutionary
and was still un-tested. However they chose to stick with it,
and towards the end of the 2001 season they were qualifying in the
top 10.
After the poor
showing in Melbourne many said that they would be battling with Minardi
for last place. But they surprised the pack by pulling 10
points out of the bag, putting the wind up Jaguar. |
