Freya is not one to be messed with, when in trance, make her use jump and she'll stay up in the air for several turns, throwing down spears at every enemy, making her trance one of the best. When she finds her lost-love, Sir. Fratley in Cleyra, he has no recalling of her due to him mysteriously getting amnesia (and after 3 years of searching for him!).
Battle Details
Possessing powerful fighting skills, Freya's battle technique is modelled on the traditional Final Fantasy Dragoon with the Jump command taking her off the battle screen before she makes her attack.

GENDER: Female WEAPON: RodA young girl at only 6 years of age, Eiko is the only remainder of a tribe of summoners. Afraid of being on her own, she lives as the only human in a family of Moogles including her best friend, (you guessed it!)Mog.

Despite her young age, Eiko develops quite a crush on the adult Zidane, forming a rivalry with Garnet. She posseses powers unremarkable for her statue and appearances. She has the ability, like Garnet to summon Eidolons and later becomes someone for Kuja to watch out for ... Battle Details
Eiko is obviously weak physically, but possesses ability when using White Magic and summoning healing creatures. Her Mog is always there to look out for her, even in times of great need ...(Mog's really an Eidolon!)

WEAPON: Huge ForkDefinitely the strangest character of Final Fantasy IX, Quina is a mysterious creature who lives in Qu's Marsh. Pretty much nothing is known about Quina, not least its gender (or indeed if it has a gender), but we think it's safe to say that it enjoys eating and cooking seeing as Quina is a chef by trade.

It brings into the game the mini-game of frog catching, where items can be gained. You don't want to be near it when it is hungry, especially if you are a frog! Battle Details
Quina's choice of weapon is a huge fork which enables it to eat the enemy in order to learn their attacks.

An independent person both in and out of battle, Amarant relies mostly on his strength more than his brains. Battle Details
Like Sabin Figaro from Final Fantasy VI, Amarant can use Blitz combinations to devastating effect. A traditional Final Fantasy Ninja, Amarant can also throw items at the enemy, and also possesses curative abilities. Return Magic is one of the abilities that he supplies, which is very useful. His brawn is a worthy welcome to your team, when you find him in the Village of the Summoners.
