The Fleece Inn is without equal in England. Owned by the Byrd family since the days of Chaucer(until it was bequeathed to the National Trust in 1977. The building was originally a longhouse and has remained largely undisturbed in its architecture and atmosphere since the 17th century. It is a pub steeped in history and serves some fine real ales and food.
You will even notice the medieval protection of witchlines drawn on the floor to prevent witches entering from down the chimney.Whether soaking up the sun with a fin cask ale or thawing by an open fire the Fleece is the place to be.
Bretforton Silver Band have always been linked with the Fleece and some dates for your diary not to be missed are the Asparagus Auction & concert on 25th May and the Band Fete 25th August.
