As well as the regular favourites, on May 17th the band will be performing a concert in memory of the six people who tragically lost their lives in the WR Springs coach crash. The concert is to be held in the Methodist Church, Evesham, starting at 7.30pm. All the proceeds are to be donated to the County Air Ambulance. It was only 2 weeks before the accident that Chris Sloane had driven the band on their visit to Lohrieth in Germany and we feel this will be a fitting way to show our respects. The Band are doing a joint concert with the Perscoran Band from Pershore on the 12th April,it starts at 7.30 and is to be held in the Baptist church in Broad st Pershore.Tickets are available from 01386 834326.
Compared to alot of the local bands Bret band are in a good position with plenty of new members the future looks very promising. We are looking for a couple more cornet players and a bass player just to put the band at full stregth.The band are playing well and at the moment are rehearsing some very demanding music.
