Hi everyone

I’m sure you’ll agree, Roy Hendrie and his band were wonderful last month. It was worth waiting an extra week to hear him!

Thursday 6th December will be another memorable night with three top class musicians on sage. Michael Carey is a very versatile flute player who has played all the big festivals and is much sought after for concerts and session work.

Tom Byrne hails from Buncrana and is an excellent button key accordion player. Michael and him often share the same stage and to top it all we have Matt McGranaghan. Matt pulled us out at the last minute recently and some people didn’t realize he was here but he’ll be back to join Michel and Tom for this concert.

Other events coming up are the Community Carol Service in Aghyaran Methodist Church. This will be the 3rd year as we rotate round the 4 Churches in the Killeter area and is always a great event.

We have put together a very special concert for Thursday 29th February featuring Strabane Concert Brass, Letterkenny Choral Society and Soprano Ann Jennings who is originally from Ireland but is now based in Munich. The concert will feature popular classics, film music and some wonderful solos. It will be held in Aghyaran Centre and I would urge you to spread the word as much as possible because I hope there will be a good crowd for this. Even if you are not into big band or choral music you would enjoy this. Strabane Concert Brass are one of Ireland’s top brass bands and are worth hearing.

Look forward to seeing you on the 6th.

Yours sincerely
