Enjoy a friendly evening, dancing English and American traditional dances to good callers and live music. No previous experience needed as full instructions are always given. Folk dancing has no age barrier.

Never tried folk dancing, come along and see what you are missing! The Scots are proud of their heritage, the Welsh of theirs. Here in England we too have a heritage to look to. The folk dancing tradition of England goes back centuries, certainly to tudor times and before. Our members don't remember that far back of course, and things have evolved. New dances have been added to the repertoire and there are are hundreds of dances available. Dances are still being written today, some are adaptations of older dances, others are completely new. If you write dances and want some guinea pigs to try them out on simply get in touch! Are you interested in becoming a caller, or are you a caller looking for a club to join or visit?

Make time for yourself to have fun
Come along and join in our fun in the this year, everybody is welcome. Dancing is great exercise, without knowing that you are helping to extend your life expectancy. Just look around the country and you will find many people who are well into their eighties dancing and putting the modern youth to shame with their stamina and vitality. Don't let all the fun in life pass you by, join in. Just come along and meet us. You can find the times and directions from the navigation area. Remember that a computer console exercises only your wallet and it stimulates the games manufacturers' bank balance. Meeting real people is much more fun.
