Type 3 - Destructive Surveys.Any building that is to be demolished or when major renovations are planned will require a destructive survey.
This type of survey will locate and describe all ACMs in the building and may involve destructive inspection, as necessary to gain access to all areas.
A full sampling programme is undertaken and estimates of the volume and surface area of ACMs made.
