‘The Edale hike was good, especially because we had to plan everything ourselves. From where we were going to stay, to what we were going to eat (lead bread sarnies!) The best bit was playing cards, to win novelty sized jenga blocks.’

‘We went to Rydal and I enjoyed the mountain biking. We made camp doughnuts on another night that were really nice’

‘I enjoyed cooking camp doughnuts at a local campsite. The best thing was biking at night which was brilliant. I also enjoyed playing kick out ball’

‘Edale YH hike – great with older scouts, we need to get some giant jenga blocks!. Border hike walk good. Biking good when we don’t wreck bikes & we got somewhere!, routes are good fun. Catapults good idea if we, the Scouts, were organised! Pioneering rope bridges we made were great and challenging’

‘Learning how a computer is built, and being able to put one together so that it works was interesting. We even set up our own website!’
