On June 27th 1983, 56070 failed at Llandudno Junction, empties were taken
back
to Fiddlers Ferry (Widnes) by a class 40.
The night train was worked by class 47,
47373 (HM).
Next day 56093, from (HM), worked the fly ash,
on arrival at the Junction
it failed,
and by this time 56070 had been repaired and worked back with the empties.
She returned that night and took 56093 back to Warrington with the fly ash
empties.
56093 is seen with 08023 at 18.00 hours on June 28th 1983.
25276 at Llandudno Junction on June 28th 1983.

6G on April 24th 1984 showing 47198, 56069 & 56059.
These two class 56's were used next day to carry out deflection tests
on the wooden bridge that spans the Afon Llugwy,
north of Bettws-Y-Coed station.
After performing their "weighty" task they were sent back to Toton.

Royal train being serviced inside the shed. Prince Charles and Princess
Diana
were touring Clwyd.
Later the train ran E.C.S. to Rhyl, where it picked up the Royal couple
and took them on to Wrexham. The train was hauled throughout by 47532.

carriage shed roof looking well maintained, in July 1986.

demolition?
