These two photos show current equipment in use in the shack.The top photo is the RF Deck of my 3cx1500 amp.The deck was built by G4RKV,and I built the matching power supply.It was originally used in contests,then was retired for a good few years until I rescued it from G4RKVs garage.It will run about 1.2kw o/p on 144mhz,but the power supply HT is a little low,so its operating below optimum performance.Its now my spare amp as Im using one of LZ2USs fine amplifiers,using a pair of GU74Bs.The bottom photo is of the current project,its a GS35B Amp for 432Mhz,this is a PA3CSG RF deck,and once again Im power supply building.I can hear plenty on 432,but I cant seem to get them to hear me,I hope this will help!
