These are things we have done, makes and try-its. Some are easy and quick, some less so. A lot are hard to explain without diagrams but Ill try my best.

Mothers day baskets

Decorate one side of 2 pieces of card (about 2 inces across). Fold the 2 circles in half so the ridge is on the coloured side and overlap forming a heart shape. Staple them together making a little bag. Place about 10cm ribbon as a handle and staple into place.

Pop up cards

Using 2 strips of card lay so at right angles and fold over each other and continue until a springy strip has been made. Cut out pictures and stick them on the ends of the springs. Decorate a folded piece of card and add this to it.

Dollies

Using an old-sytle clothes peg drw a face to the top and add hair. cut a cirle of mterical out and place a hole in the middle. Place this over the peg to make a dress and decorate until the doll looks doll like.

Chains

Fold a piece of paper lengthways a few times and cut out a human shape. This will form a chain. Decorate each in a Brownie uniform from a different country. (In the links section there is a webite with all the uniforms on it)

Decorating eggs

Get cheap plastic eggs from the ELC or somewhere similar and paint or felt tip designs on them. Alternativly a normal egg can be used after being blown or hard boiled.
