These are the songs we sing. When I get myself some decent software I'll put in the music so you know the tune but at the moemnt it looks like its words only....sorry.

The Bronwnie Guide Song

We sing this at the beginning of each meeting. We skip round the room in our sixes to form a horseshoe.
#We're Brownie Guides#
#We're Brownie Guides#
#We're here to lend a hand#
#To love our god#
#And serve our queen#
#And help our homes and lands#
#We've Brownie friends#
#We've Brownie friends#
#In north, south east and west#
#We're joined together#
#In our wish#
#To try to do our best#

Brownie Bells

We sing this at the end of each meeting, some packs hold little fingers and pass a squeeze along to represent passing friendship around the world. It is sung to the tune clock towers make. There are 2 verses but most packs only sing the first one.
Verse 1-#O lord our god#
#Thy children call#
#Grant us thy peace#
#And bless us all#
Verse 2-#O lord this week#
#Help us to seek#
#Good turns to do#
#and to be true#
#goodnight#

Thunderation

This is sung in a round with the second group starting at the end of the first group singing thunderation.

Thunder, thunder, thunderation
We are the Brownie Guide assosiation
When we work with determination
We create a sensation

Cecil

Cecil was a catapiller
Cecil was my firnd and last time I saw cecil he was this big (gesture small size) and I said oh! cecil, what have you been doing. And cecil said I've eaten my brother.

Say this with a lisp. It has't really got a tune. Continue this changing the family member and making the size bigger until the last verse where it is back to small. When cecil is asked he answers "I've been sick" and thats were it finishes.

Aunty Monica

When they sing "oh, la, la" throw hands back over the head and back down again. And when each thing is swaying do the swaying action to go with it

Oh I have an aunty
An aunty Monica
And when she goes out shopping they all say "oh, la, la!"
Because her feathers swaying, swaying to and fro (x2)

Each verse a new line is sung at the end, so you end up with...

Oh I have an aunty
An aunty Monica
And when she goes out shopping
They all say "oh! la, la!"
Because me aunt is swaying, swaying and and fro, (x2)
Because her skirt is swaying, swaying to and fro, (x2)
Because her hat is swaying,
Swaying to and fro (x2)
Because her feather is swaying, swaying to and fro (x2)

The Little Green Frog

On the Um, un really exagerate so you screw your face up. On the la, di, da bits clap at the beginning of each line and do a "ta-da!" kind of movement and jump so your facing the other way when you next clap.

Um, un went the little green frog one day
Um, un went the little green frog
Um, un went the little green frog one day
And the little green frog went Um, Un, Un
But we know frogs go,
La, di, da, di, da
La, di, da, di, da
La, di, da, di da
But we know frog go
La, di, da, di, da
They don't go Um, un, un.

Baby Bumble Bee

I'm bringing home my baby bumble bee Won't my mommy be so proud of me I'm bringing home my baby bumble bee Ooh eee it stung me!
I'm squishing up my baby bumble bee Won't my mommy be so proud of me I'm squishing up my baby bumble bee Ooh ee it's all over me!
I'm licking up my baby bumble bee Won't my mommy be so proud of me I'm licking up my baby bumble bee Ooh eee I feel sick!
I'm (throwing up noise) my baby bumble bee Won't my mommy be so proud of me I'm (throwing up noise) my baby bumble bee Ooh eee what a mess!
I'm sweeping up my baby bumble bee Won't my mommy be so proud of me I'm sweeping up my baby bumble bee Ooh eee my mommy loves me!

Actions:
Bringing home the bumble bee: cup hands as if carrying an insect
Squishing up the bumble bee: use hands to squish!
Licking up the bumble bee: lick hands one after the other
Throwing up and sweping....obvious?
